Web design—layout & design systems
I redesigned Lehigh University’s website as part of the launch of its ‘Real’ brand platform, turning the university’s broad, cross-disciplinary ethos into a flexible, component-based digital system.
This is an ongoing project—check back for updates!
Specs & RecognitionClient: Lehigh University
Scope: Responsive UI design, design systems (component libraries and layout patterns), interactive prototyping, and a comprehensive style guide for designers, developers and content creators
Recognition: CUPPIE Awards: Digital Media (Gold)
A Modular System
Because the site has many content contributors, but limited design and web-development resources, I focused as much on the publishing experience as the front-end. I prioritised scalability—creating modular layouts, reusable components and clear guidelines that enabled contributors to build pages quickly while maintaining visual consistency across the site.
Outcomes
Since launch we have noted more efficient turnaround time for the design and web development teams and high adoption of this system by other marketing and communications offices at Lehigh.
